Why Do We See More Sinus Infection Symptoms?
#1
Thumbs Up
Sinus Infection Symptoms - Why Do We See More Sinus Infection Symptoms?
Is a common know fact that we are living in a fast changing world. What used to be the norm in the past is not going to hold in the future. As it pertains to our health we are in the same boat. I'm convinced that certain maladies such as sinus infection are only going to increase and as such it is important that we recognize sinus infection symptoms and look at the alternatives out there to relieve what is an every day occurrence for millions of people around the world. But why are we seeing more sinus infection symptoms you may ask? There are a few reasons.

One of the Causes of Sinusitis is Environmental Pollens that Irritate the Nasal Passages
I am not an expert but I believe the natural sickle of the environment is out of kilter ( global warming!) and it is causing the seasons to stick longer than usually or be shorter than they used to be. With this the time frame in which these pollens affects people have increased and thus the sinus infection symptoms last longer than used to be the case in the past. The amounts of chemicals we spew into the atmosphere are also greatly increasing the occurrence of sinusitis as they irritate the nasal passages more and more and the abuse of over the counter nasal sprays and drugs that people snort through the nose are also adding to the problem.

Don't let sinusitis ruin your day and your sleep.
Do something about it today.
Leaving it to its own devices could land you in the hospital and even lead to blindness.
Then you are not going to recognize any symptom even if you wanted to.
So the problem is wider than just our bodies not being strong enough to fight off the bugs. We need to learn to recognize the symptoms of the most common diseases and fight them effectively. Sinusitis being so common should encourage us to identify sinus infection symptoms from a mile away and deal with them promptly. Here are the most common sinus infection symptoms. 1. Nasal congestion and pressure on the inside corner of the eyes 2. Pain behind the cheekbone and under the eyes.3 Pain in your forehead accompanied with vast amounts of mucus production and fever. 4. Seeing double and feeling pain behind the eyes. We were a bit tentative when embarking on this project on Sinus Infection. However, using the grit and determination we have, we have produced some fine reading material on Sinus Infection.

Millions of Americans are affected by sinusitis every year, much more than in the years before discovering antibiotics.
Though, ant biotherapy still remains the best method to cure SOME of the sinus infections, especially those produced by bacteria.
Always carry tea or apply for hot water while traveling by plane, as dry air damages the sinus membranes; these must be kept humidified all the time.

Keep you body well hydrated by drinking soups, hot teas or any other hot liquids. 2.
Well hydrated mucous membranes help the movements of the cilia and make the elimination of mucus easier.
Hot coffee is not such a good medication as is contains caffeine. Wink
The Patient Feels a Discomforting Pressure Around Eyes, Forehead and Cheeks
3. Pain in the upper jaw 4. Weakness and tiredness 5. Small amounts of mucus slip down the posterior side of the throat Writing something about Sinusitis seemed to be something illogical in the beginning. However, with the progress of matter, it seemed logical. Matter just started pouring in, to give you this finished product.

Oral and local corticosteroid decongestants can ease the inflammation of sinus and nasal membranes and antihistaminic medication reduce symptoms in case of allergic sinusitis. But chemical medication alone is not going to cure and prevent sinusitis from reoccurring. Home treatment and care must prevent the swelling of the membranes and assure their anatomical and functional health. We had at first written a rough assignment on Preventing Sinusitis. Then after a few improvisions and enhancements here and there, we have ended up with this end product.

Apply Warm Towels on Your Face for about 5 Minutes Three Times a Day
Warm water and steam will ease your circulation and cilia moves. 5. Periodically irrigate sinuses through an in-and-out circuit of salty water on low pressure. Pharmacies offer you Sinus irrigators and Hydro Nasal Pulse to help you irrigate your sinuses correct and painless. These devices are easy to use and the pulse of water is gentle with your sinuses. An idle brain, is a devil's workshop they say. Using this ideology in mind, we ventured to write on Sinus Infection, so that something productive would be achieved of our minds.

Preventing sinusitis means avoiding excessive quantities of mucus to be secreted and caring for the structure and function of cilia.
This is how you can prevent and also, if occurred, treat symptoms of sinusitis: Opportunity knocks once.
So when we got the opportunity to write on Sinus, we did not let the opportunity slip from our hands, and got down to writing on Sinus.
Because of the inflammation, the mucus and bacteria are trapped inside the sinuses and infection occurs.
Most common sinusitis symptoms are: 1.
Cold or flu signs last longer than 3 days
Paranasal sinus refers to all the four sinuses that are air filled spaces communicating with nasal cavity.
There sinuses are divided into four groups according to the site of their location and the bone associated with them.
Let us see, what are these four sinuses?
Besides this natural treatment to get rid of a sinus infection naturally you must try to avoid those food that help aggravating sinus.
These are like wheat, cheese, spicy food, milk and many more.
You can consult your doctor for the medications and besides medication you can do the following in home to avoid any problem of paranasal sinuses.
Hot Water Treatment.
That is expose your face to lukewarm water and allow the treatment for five minutes everyday.
The warmth not only relieves the pain and but also helps in killing the germs causing infections.
We were a bit tentative when embarking on this project on Nasal Cavity Sinuses.
However, using the grit and determination we have, we have produced some fine reading material on Nasal Cavity Sinuses. :o
Frontal sinuses: These sinuses are located over the eyes which are associated with frontal bones and hence called frontal sinuses.
Ethmoid sinuses: The space between the nose and the eyes are located with paranasal sinuses called ethmoid sinuses.
There has been a gradual introduction to the world of Nasal Cavity Sinuses projected in this article.
We had done this so that the actual meaning of the article will sink within you.
Now All These Paranasal Sinuses Have Some Biological Role to Play in Our Body
What are these? They decrease the weight of the skull, shape the facial bones, increase resonance to voice, provide a buffer against any blow to your face, Insulate sensitive structure like dental roots, fluctuations in the nasal cavity, and protect eyes. The process of heating and humidifying is an important function of these sinuses.

All These Paranasal Sinuses are Vulnerable to Infections by Bacteria and Others
They can infect any of the four sinuses that we have in our facial region. When they infect the sinuses we call it sinusitis. The infections cause great trouble to the patient. When this happens this is called sinusitis. Sinus infection is not something very deadly! They can be get rid of naturally.

Quote:Sphenoid sinuses: The sinuses located near the sphenoid bones is called sphenoid sinuses. Its located at the center of the skull and under the pituitary gland. Using the intuition I had on Sinus Treatment, I thought that writing this article would indeed be worth the trouble. Most of the relevant information on Sinus Treatment has been included here.

Herbal remedies for sinus infection you can Try Lemon Balm, it is a good-tasting herb, lemon balm is a natural anti-virus, anti-bacteria fighting herb, good for your body. It is body relaxing and soothing, and commonly available as tea. Lemon balm is helpful in fighting off viruses and bacteria which cause your sinus infections in the first place. Steep the dried leaves for around ten minutes in some hot water.

Antibiotics are usually prescribed to treat sinus infections but they are not the recommended long term solutions.
I suffer from sinusitis and found that natural sinus remedies work best for me, you can find out more on these natural remedies.
Herbal Remedies for Sinus Infection are Better Choices Than Drug Medication
However, be careful because some herbs may have interactions with prescription medication so it is wise to check with your doctor before taking them. Many Herbal remedies for sinus infection have been used successfully for many years. They are safe, natural and easy to use and have no ill side effects that most medications have. Vitamin C and zinc can help to shorten the length of colds as well as to keep the symptoms down. By fighting off a cold early, you can help yourself possibly from a sinus infection. If you don't know Vitamin C is essential for production of adrenal hormones and lymphocytes and directly fights bacteria and viruses. Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria can Spread to Family Members, School Mates and Co-Workers
Threatening your community with infectious diseases that are difficult to cure and expensive to treat. Antibiotics only fight bacterial infections. Sometimes antibiotics are given unnecessarily for infections that they will not help or cure. Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria change in a way that reduces or eliminates the effectiveness of antibiotics. These resistant bacteria survive and multiply - causing more harm, such as a longer illness, more doctor visits, and a need for more expensive and toxic antibiotics. Big Grin.

Gentleman Named Jason Contacted Me and Said He Recently Had Sinus Laser Surgery from Dr
Harvey Paley, whose practice is in Beverly Hills, CA. He said flatly that this operation 'changed my life'. This gentleman has had 3 other conventional surgeries in the past 15 years during which time he had lost his sense of smell and sense of taste. Hearing about such a success after a sinus operation is rare in my experience. I personally have had two of them, and they basically didn't work, since I continued to have sinus infections after both of them. In fact, I've heard of very few people who have had sinus surgery and who were pleased about the results over time.

So when someone is as enthusiastic about his operation as Jason is, it is time to listen, especially considering his background of sinus problems. The operational procedure is called Sinu-Clear, and it uses a laser as well as an endoscope. The laser equipment also provides a steady stream of salt water to flow through the nasal passageways while the operation is taking place. There is apparently very little bleeding during the procedure, since the laser cauterizes the tissue being operated on. Because of this there is no need for nasal packing, and this is a huge positive, as those of us who have gone through a conventional operation with a scalpel and had our noses packed can attest. For me it was just awful. The endoscope allows for good viewing by the surgeon, as the camera projects a picture of the nasal cavities being worked on onto a television screen. Did you ever believe that there was so much to learn about Sinus Problems? Neither did we! Once we got to write this article, it seemed to be endless.

Addition to Dr
Paley in Beverly Hills, CA, I found out about two other otolaryngologists who perform the Sinu-Clear sinus laser operation. One is Dr. Vincent Pisciotta in Biloxi, Mississippi, and the other is Dr. Robert Bonham in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Bonham also performs another new operation called Sinuplasty, which is similar to angioplasty but for the sinus cavities. I understand there may be a few other surgeons in the country who routinely perform the Sinu-Clear operation, and I intend to continue to research this and get the word out. Results will be posted on the blog and forum at ***** I only wish I had heard about this sinus laser surgery procedure years ago. It sounds like it might have been more effective and certainly less painful than the operations I did have. If you are considering being one of the 300,000 people who have sinus operations in the U.S. alone, this procedure is certainly something to know about and consider as an option, even if it were to require travel. We worked as diligently as an owl in producing this composition on Clear Sinus. So only if you do read it, and appreciate its contents will we feel our efforts haven't gone in vain.

This Type of Approach Seems to Make Perfect Sense
That is, using laser and endoscope technology to limit bleeding and see clearly what is being operated on. The first question I had is 'why are there only a small handful of surgeons in the U.S. doing this operation?' It is not brand new, and in fact this laser sinus surgery was apparently pioneered by Dr. Daniel M. Schuman from Boca Raton, Florida over 10 years ago. Apparently Dr. Schuman has subsequently retired from his medical practice. Go ahead and read this article on Chronic Sinus. We would also appreciate it if you could give us an analysis on it for us to make any needed changes to it. Smile

Asked this question to a gentleman from the company that produces the Sinu-Clear laser equipment, a company called PhotoMedex. He said there are many reasons for so few surgeons using the procedure, and most seem to boil down to the reluctance of people, in this case sinus surgeons, to change. In fact PhotoMedex is emphasizing different product lines of medical laser equipment, and the gentleman I spoke with was not optimistic about growth aspects for this procedure. To me this is certainly a shame. I personally have only spoken to one person, Jason, who has undergone the procedure, but he is extremely enthusiastic. I hope to speak to others and get more inputs. I can only say that when someone who has had 3 other operations tries sinus laser surgery and says he has finally regained his sense of smell again after 15 years, then this is worth taking note of, at the very least. There is sure to be a grin on your face once you get to read this article on Sinusitis. This is because you are sure to realize that all this matter is so obvious, you wonder how come you never got to know about it!

Sinus Congestion - Sinus Infection - Should You Use Capsaicin Spray as a Sinus Buster?
There is a sinus buster nasal spray that has been around for many years used for sinus infections, sinus infection symptoms, chronic sinusitis, sinus congestion, sinus headaches and other sinus problems. It contains Capsaicin which has long been used in creams externally for arthritis pain. There have been testimonials and claims floating around on the Internet for some time promoting capsaicin for the sinuses. But this is true for many so-called sinus busters.

The sinus tissues and nasal tissues are delicate tissues and coming in contact with anything that is not normal is cause for concern and in this case Capsaicin should be a big cause for concern. An idle brain, is a devil's workshop they say. Using this ideology in mind, we ventured to write on Sinus Congestion, so that something productive would be achieved of our minds.

Do Not Believe Everything You Read on the Internet When It Comes to Your Health
Find experts you respect and compare their opinions with other experts. Get second and third opinions. Sinus specialists will differ on their approach to sinus problems and sometimes vastly differ. Testimonials for Capsaicin could be made up for all anyone knows.

You were to put diluted Capsaicin on your skin you could reach it and treat it if you get a burn. Not so for you sinuses. Before you spray or put anything up your nose that is not natural and especially something that has the serious side effect of a direct contact burn I would seriously reconsider. Also whatever goes up there you may not easily get out, whether Capsaicin or anything else that is natural. Writing something about Sinus Busters seemed to be something illogical in the beginning. However, with the progress of matter, it seemed logical. Matter just started pouring in, to give you this finished product.
Pepper - Sinus

Many people try to challenge their bodies by eating hot peppers and pride themselves on eating the hottest that are around. But what many don't know is that many of these people come into the emergency room for treatment of serious esophageal and intestinal tract burns. Where is their common sense one wonders? Would you want to go to the emergency room what is sinus pain? and burned nasal or sinus passages? We had at first written a rough assignment on Sinus Conditions. Then after a few improvisions and enhancements here and there, we have ended up with this end product.

There are much better ways to treat and cure sinus inflammation sinuses other sinus conditions without causing serious temporary or permanent damage. Imagine walking around with perpetual burning going on in your head and nose that you can't do anything about. Opportunity knocks once. So when we got the opportunity to write on Sinus Buster, we did not let the opportunity slip from our hands, and got down to writing on Sinus Buster.
